# Color your RugMe on your own

## RugMe Collection Brief

> Sat endpoint collection where a new image will be revealed when sat 1932536250000000 gets a 3rd inscription. Once inscription 3 is inscribed the inscriptions will be in their final form. Admit it, you love getting rugged. Child endpoint allows holders to upgrade their inscriptions background color This is done by inscribing a child with their rug me with a text or json inscription in quotes. Example "red" or "#800080.

## How to Color My RugMe Inscription

#### Step 1

on sating.io, Connect wallet which RugMe inscription is in.

#### Step2

select a sat on which you want to inscribe color as its child inscription. click 'inscribe' icon and click 'Inscribe' button, and go to inscribe detail page.

#### Step 3

In Sat Inscription Page,&#x20;

Enable 'Provenance Setting' and select your RugMe inscription as parent.

if you have many inscription in the address, you could enter either inscription number or inscription id to quick search.

Provide an address to receive RugMe inscription, usually current address.

#### Step 4

Switch to 'text' content tab, and enter your color. ***note: you must include quote mark.***&#x20;

Also fill an address to receive color inscription.

#### Step 5

click 'submit' button to review a fee detail

#### Step 6

if everything is good to you, click 'Inscribe' to start inscribe process. Monitor inscribe process in 'inscribe history'

#### Step 7

After inscribe completes, you'll see RugMe inscription color changes!
